Paviland Cave, Glamorgan

Paviland Cave (aka Goat's hole Cave) is a limestone cave, famous for the discovery in 1823 of the "Red Lady of Paviland", one of the oldest anatomically modern human skeletons found in Britain, located near Pitton, on the Gower Peninsula, Glamorgan. The monument is within the council area of Swansea.
