Patterton, Renfrewshire
Patterton is a suburban area situated on the northern edge of the urban area around Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire. Patterton was formerly a country house (now demolished) and the rural area around it. Patterton railway station first opened in 1903, though the suburban area of Patterton only developed from the late 20th century. The area is within the council area of East Renfrewshire.
