Patricroft, Lancashire

Patricroft is a former village that is now a suburb of Eccles, Lancashire. It was the birthplace in 1877 of renowned aviator Sir Edwin Alliott Verdon Roe, the first Englishman to make a powered flight. It is within the council area of Salford.
