Parkin's Stones, Cumberland
Parkin's Stones is the remains of a Bronze Age cairn on the summit of Benty Hill in Cumberland. The cairn on the hill's summit (1,999 feet) measures approximately 25 feet in diameter and stands up to 2 feet high. A kerb of edge set stones visible on its western side survives elsewhere as a buried feature and indicates this is a burial mound. It is within the council area of Westmorland and Furness.
