Osgodby, Yorkshire
Osgodby is a village in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. Osgodby was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Asgozbi. It appears to have grown until the 14th century but then declined to a sparsely populated farming area by the 19th century. Housing has been developed east of the mediæval site from the 1930s. The village is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
