Ormesby, Yorkshire
Ormesby is a village in Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The ancient manor of Ormesby stretched from the Tees to south of St Cuthbert's parish church, though the village was clustered around the church. 20th-century suburban development has led to the village being contiguous with Middlesbrough. Ormesby Hall is a predominantly 18th-century mansion house built in the Palladian style. Orsmesby is within the councils areas of Middlesbrough and Redcar and Clifton.
