Old Town Hall, Durham

The Old Town Hall is a historic civic building in the Market Place in South Shields, County Durham. It was built as a manorial court by the Dean and Chapter of Durham in 1768. It was used as the town hall by South Shields corporation from 1855-1910. It is within the council area of South Tyneside.
