Old Boyland Hall, Norfolk

Old Boyland Hall is a late mediæval timber-framed house near Bressingham, Norfolk. The timber used has been dated by tree rings to felling in 1401. The house was built on the site of an earlier house. The house is moated, and the moat may date from the 13th century. The Conduit is a waterfilled channel leading to the moat, built in late 16th century brick. The house is within the council area of South Norfolk (Norfolk).
