Old Basford, Nottinghamshire
Old Basford (formerly just Basford) is a former village that is now an urban area in the north-west of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. The 'Old' prefix was added during the 19th century to differentiate it from New Basford to its south-east. St Leodegarius Church has a chancel dates from the 1180s and a south arcade from c1250. The area is within the council area of Nottingham.
