Nunthorpe, Yorkshire
Nunthorpe is a suburban village to the south of Middlesbrough in Yorkshire. It lies in the North Riding. The original village of Nunthorpe lies next to Nunthorpe Hall at the south end of the modern suburban area. The suburban area of Nunthorpe developed around Nunthorpe station about a mile north of this village. Developments in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s have led to the two areas being almost connected. Nunthorpe is within the council area of Middlesbrough.
