MenuNun's Well, Yorkshire
Nun's Well is a mediæval holy well in Ryedale, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The well is a survival of the Benedictine nunnery of St Andrew (c. 1147-1536), now the site of 17th-century Arden Hall. The spring-fed well is a perfect circle about 8ft across with a stepped stone base and sides. It is within the council area of North Yorkshire.
