Nottingham Cathedral (formally the Cathedral Church of St Barnabas) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It is seat of the Bishop of Nottingham. It was built as a cathedral from 1841-1844 by A.W.N. Pugin in the Early English Plain Gothic style. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel is in the richly decorated style for which Pugin later became known. The cathedral is within the council area of Nottingham.
