Northern Moor, Cheshire
Northern Moor is a suburban village in Cheshire, to the west of Northenden. In former centuries it was known as Northenden Moor or Northen Moor, i.e. "the moor belonging to Northenden". It was incorporated into the City of Manchester in 1931, along with Northenden and the land on which Wythenshawe was developed, follwoing which is became a suburban area. It is within the council area of Manchester.
