Northchurch, Hertfordshire
Northchurch is a village in Hertfordshire. Situated on the Roman road Akeman Street, the settlement predates the neighbouring larger town of Berkhamsted. The parish church of St Mary dates from Saxon times. The village was formerly known as 'Berkhamsted St Mary' or 'Berkhamsted Minor'. The village is within the council area of Dacorum (Hertfordshire).
