Newton Tump, Herefordshire
Newton Tump is the earthwork remains of a motte-and-bailey castle in Herefordshire. Three miles south-east of Clifford, on low-lying ground between the Merbach Hill and Little Mountain, this site guards the western entrance to the Golden Valley. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
