Newburgh, Fife
Newburgh is a small town and royal burgh in Fife, on the coast of the Firth of Tay. The plain Georgian town house, with central tower and spire, was built in 1808. Lindores Abbey is the remaining ruin of a medæval abbey near the Tay, on the east side of the town. The town is within the council area of Fife.
