New Lodge, Antrim
New Lodge is an urban area, lying just north of Belfast city centre, County Antrim. It is within the townland of Town Parks, in the civil parish of Shankill. The area was developed in the late 19th century. The area is known for the historic tensions between its mainly nationalist residents and those of the adjoining unionist Tiger's Bay district. New Lodge is within the council area of Belfast.
