New Charlton (now often known as Charlton Riverside) is an urban area in Charlton, Kent, occupying the flat lands by the River Thames at the north of the ancient parish of Charlton. The area saw industrial development from the mid 19th century, though was not fully developed until the mid 20th century. It is within the council area of Greenwich.
