Netherwitton Hall, Northumberland

Netherwitton Hall is a mansion house in Northumberland. The estate was owned by the Thornton family from the 14th century. The present house, which was built in about 1685 to a design by architect Robert Trollope for Sir Nicholas Thornton. The Hall has been the home of the Trevelyan family since 1778. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
