Netherton, Staffordshire
Netherton is a Black Country town. Though locally in Staffordshire, it lies within the Dudley exclave of Worcestershire. Netherton was a small village until the Industrial Revolution, after which it developed rapidly around coal-mining, steel-making, brick making and enamelling. St Andrew's Church was consecrated in 1830 and is situated on Netherton Hill at the highest point in the town. The town is within the council area of Dudley.
