Netherhall, Cumberland

Netherhall was a large country mansion in Cumberland. Comprising a mediæval pele tower, altered and extended in the mid and late Georgian period, with additional late 19th century wings. In 1976 the house was derelict after a serious fire. All that now remains of Netherhall itself is the 14 century Solar Tower. It is within the council area of Cumberland.
