Ness, Cheshire

Ness is a village in Cheshire, on the Wirral peninsula. Lord Nelson's mistress, Emma Hamilton, was born in Ness. Ness Botanic Gardens, opened in 1898, have many fine specimen trees and flowers. The village is within the council area of Cheshire West and Chester.
