Nairn, Nairnshire

Nairn is a town and burgh on the coast of the Moray Firth in Nairnshire, of which it is the county town. It is an ancient fishing port and market town. The Links is one of the finest golf courses in Scotland. The narrow-streeted Fishertown surrounds a harbour built by Thomas Telford while Victorian villas stand in Nairn's 'West End'. Nairn is within the council area of Highland.
