Mussenden Temple, Londonderry
Mussenden Temple is a small circular building, located on the cliffs overlooking the Downhill Strand near the village of Castlerock, County Londonderry. The temple was built in 1785 and forms part of the Downhill Demesne. It was constructed as a library and modelled from the Temple of Vesta in the Forum Romanum in Rome. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Causeway Coast and Glens.
