Musselburgh, Midlothian
Musselburgh is a large coastal town in Midlothian, on the seaboard of the Firth of Forth. Musselburgh was first settled by the Romans around AD 80 who built a fort at Inveresk. The Old Bridge across the Esk, originally built by the Romans, remains in use today by pedestrians. Musselburgh is known as "The Honest Toun", and celebrates this by the annual election of the Honest Lad and Lass. The town is within the council area of East Lothian.
