Mullartown, Down

Mullartown is a village, lying south of the Mourne Mountains on the coast of County Down. It is within the townland of Mullartown, in the civil parish of Kilkeel. Until the mid 20th century, Mullartown was a hamlet scattered along the coastal road through Mullartown townland. Since then a nucleated suburban settlement has been developed in the south-east of the townland, across the Annalong River from Annalong. The village is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
