Mullaghmore, Tyrone
Mullaghmore is an urban area in Omagh, County Tyrone. It is within the townland of Mullaghmore, in the civil parish of Cappagh. Much of the north-western part of Mullaghmore townland has been developed for housing since the mid 20th century. This area is generally known as Mullaghmore. The Georgian Mullaghmore House remains. Knocknamoe Castle was built for the Stack family in 1875 and from the 1960s became a popular music venue. It was demolished in the 1960s and replaced by housing. The area is within the council area of Fermanagh and Omagh.
