Moyard, Antrim

Moyard is a small housing estate on the western outskirts of Belfast, County Antrim. It lies within the townland of Ballymurphy, in the civil parish of Shankill. The area had been the site of White Rock Bleaching Green and, from the late 19th century, a textile factory of James Mackie & Sons. The estate was built from the 1940s. Moyard is within the council area of Belfast.
