Mount Hall, Essex
Mount Hall is the remains of a manorial settlement at Theydon Mount, Essex. Mount Hall and its associated mediæval settlement lie to the north of the Church of St Michael; both of which lie within a series rectilinear enclosures surviving as cropmarks. Mount Hall was built in the 12th century but demolished around 1486 and replaced with the nearby Hill Hall. The site is within the council area of Epping Forest (Essex).
