Mosspark, Renfrewshire
Mosspark is a district in the south-west of the Glasgow conurbation. It is in the Paisley civil parish in Renfrewshire. The housing was constructed primarily after the First World War, prompted by the need to develop peripheral communities to help ease the city's notorious overcrowding. Entirely residential, the scheme's green and semi-rural setting was intended to provide a healthier alternative to the city's traditional tenement landscape. It is within the council area of City of Glasgow.
