Mossend, Lanarkshire
Mossend is a small town in Lanarkshire, , located beside the town of Bellshill, west of the villages of Holytown and New Stevenston. Mossend formed around the steel industry, with the former Clydesdale Steel Works once dominating the east end of the town. The town is the site of two railway freight terminals. The town is within the council area of North Lanarkshire.
