Moss Hall, Cheshire

Moss Hall is a Jacobean manor house near Audlem, Cheshire. It was built in 1616 for Hugh Massey, then owned by Edward Legh of Baguley Hall. It is a large, symmetrical timber-framed house, with an E shaped plan. It has been described as 'a surprisingly complete example of a gentleman's house of the early 17th century'. It is within the council area of Cheshire East.
