Montalto House, Down
Montalto House is a Georgian mansion, situated within the Montalto Estate near Ballynahinch, County Down. It is within the townland of Ballymaglave North, in the civil parish of Magheradrool. The Montalto estate lies within lands granted to Sir George Rawdon by Charles I in 1641-2. The current house was built by John Rawdon and dates from around 1752. It has been remodelled, extended and renovated on several occasions. The house is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
