Monk's House, Sussex

Monk's House is a 16th-century weatherboarded cottage in Rodmell, Sussex. It was the home of the writer Virgina Woolf from 1919 until her death in 1941. She and her husband Leonard received here many visitors connected to the Bloomsbury Group, including T. S. Eliot, E. M. Forster, Roger Fry and Lytton Strachey. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Lewes (East Sussex).
