Moneyslane is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Moneyslane, in the civil parish of Drumgooland. The village developed at McBrides Cross Roads, the crossing of the Castlewellan to Bandridge road (A50) and the Rathfriland to Dromara road (B7). James McBride owned a corn mill and a flax mill here in the early 19th century. The village has seen significant development since the mid 20th century. The village is within the council area of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
