Moneyreagh, Down

Moneyreagh (aka Moneyrea) is a village in County Down. It is within the townland of Moneyreagh, in the civil parish of Comber. Until the mid 20th century, it was a hamlet near the centre of Moneyreagh townland. Since then it has seen large-scale suburban development. Moneyreagh Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church was built in 1770. Moneyrea National School opened in 1820. The village is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
