Moneymore, Londonderry

Moneymore is a large village, lying on the east bank of the Ballymulley River in County Londonderry. It is within the townland of Moneymore, in the civil parish of Artrea. It originated as a plantation village, built by the Drapers' Company of London. Springhill House is a 17th-century Plantation house, built and owned by the Conyngham family. The village is within the council area of Mid Ulster.
