Mompesson's Well, Derbyshire

Mompesson's Well is a holy well near Eyam, Derbyshire. The well was used as an exchange point for food and water during the Great Plague. The wellhead dates from the 17th century. The well is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
