Moat Low, Derbyshire
Moat Low (aka Moot Low) is a sub-circular Bronze Age burial cairn in the civil parish of Newton Grange, Derbyshire. The monument includes a mound measuring 95ft by 82ft and standing about 6ft high. Partial excavation carried out by Thomas Bateman in 1845 revealed a rock-cut grave containing two skeletons. It is within the council area of Derbyshire Dales (Derbyshire).
