Mirfield, Yorkshire
Mirfield is a small town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The town is part of the so-called Heavy Woollen district. Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë attended Roe Head school in the town. Mirfield is the birth-place (in 1940) of the actor Sir Patrick Stewart. The town is within the council area of Kirklees.
