Milton Keynes Village, Buckinghamshire
Milton Keynes Village (until the 1970s just Milton Keynes) is a village in Buckinghamshire. Since the 1970s, the village has formed a part of the new town of Milton Keynes (to which it lent its name) and the 'Village' suffix has been added to differentiate between the village and the much larger new town. The area of the new town of Milton Keynes around the village is known as 'Middleton', an earlier name for the village. The village is within the council area of Milton Keynes.
