Milltown, Down

Milltown is a hamlet in County Down. It is within the townland of Burren, in the civil parish of Clonallan. The hamlet of Milltown developed in the south of Burren townland in the mid 19th century. 20th century development has spread along Milltown Street between Milltown and the more recent settlement around St Mary's Church, effectively creating a larger village of Burren. The hamlet is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
