Milltown, Antrim
Milltown is a suburban village in County Antrim. It is within the townland of Derryaghy, in the civil parish of Derryaghy. It was small hamlet at the start of the 19th century, based around corn milling. Christ Church (C of I) dates from 1872, though a church has been on the site since the Mediæval period. The village grew slowly from the mid 19th century, but saw major suburban housing development from the mid 20th century. The village is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
