Millisle, Down
Millisle is a large village, lying on the west coast of the Ards Peninsula in County Down. It is within the townlands of Ballymacruise and Ballycopeland, in the civil parish of Donaghadee. The settlement is believed to date from the 17th century. Millisle and Ballycopeland Presbyterian Church was built in 1773. Millisle developed into a seaside resort village from the early 20th century, expanding both along the seafront and inland. The village is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
