Mersham Hatch, Kent

Mersham Hatch (aka Mersham-Le-Hatch) is an 18th-century country house at Mersham, Kent. The house was started by Sir Wyndham in 1762, and completed by his uncle, Sir Edward, in 1772. It was the first completely new house built by Robert Adam. It is built of red brick with Portland stone dressings and slate roof. It is within the council area of Ashford (Kent).
