Mellerstain House, Berwickshire

Mellerstain House is a Georgian house near Nenthorn, Berwickshire. The two wings were built by William Adam in 1725 and the main block by his famous son Robert about 40 years later. The interior decoration and ceilings by Robert Adam are very fine. It is within the council area of The Scottish Borders.
