Meads, Sussex

Meads is a former hamlet that is now an urban area in Eastbourne, Sussex. Prior to 1860, Meads remained a coastal hamlet, south-west of the new town of Eastbourne. From that time it was developed as the "smart-end" of Eastbourne. It is within the council area of Eastbourne (East Sussex).
