Maxstoke Castle, Warwickshire
Maxstoke Castle is a 14th-century moated castle, situated to the north of the hamlet of Maxstoke in Warwickshire. It was built by Sir William de Clinton, 1st Earl of Huntingdon, in 1345. Amongst its antiquities is the chair upon which Henry VII was crowned after the Battle of Bosworth. The castle is within the council area of North Warwickshire (Warwickshire).
