Marquis of Downshire Monument, Down
The Marquis of Downshire Monument is a free-standing sandstone Greek Doric column on a podium supporting a stone statue of the Third Marquess of Downshire, located in a field near Hillsborough, County Down. It is within the townland of Hillsborough, in the civil parish of Hillsborough. It was erected in 1848 and reputed to be designed by Thomas Duff. It is within the council area of Lisburn and Castlereagh.
