Marlborough House, Down
Marlborough House is a mid 18th-century double-pile two-storey gentleman’s residence, located near Downpatrick, County Down. It is within the townland of Ballymote Middle, in the civil parish of Down. The house dates to the 1740s. To the front there is a central bay with pedimented doorcase and Palladian window. The large two-storey return probably dates from the late 18th century. The house is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
